Tonight, I’ll be addressing the GOP Convention, speaking to patriotic Americans like you all across the country, remotely. It’s certainly an unprecedented arrangement, but these are unprecedented times.
As our country has grappled with a global pandemic, I have seen Iowans come together like never before. Even outside of our great state, I have seen Americans pull together and help those in need, invest in their communities, and make sacrifices for the good of their neighbor.
You want to know what else I’ve seen? My fellow Republican governors time and time again, step up to the plate and make the tough decisions – even in the face of constant attacks from leftist activists and a liberal media.
The Republican Governors Association works day in and day out to elect strong, conservative governors, and they need us to have their back right now. I know you can do it; the past few months have shown me that when patriotic Americans are asked to step up, they answer the call.
