I wanted to make sure you had an insider look on our plan to win in November!

Julie Oliver for Congress

Team,

Since Julie jumped into this race last year, supporters like you hit the ground running to do whatever it takes to flip TX-25 and hold the incumbent Congressman Roger Williams accountable for his failure to deliver real relief for anyone.

Here at Team Julie HQ, we're developing a plan of attack that continues to hit back against Roger Williams' record of prioritizing himself and his special interest donors over all of us. More importantly, we're doubling down on our organizing, because this is how we know we can win.

I want to fill you in on some more updates below, but first, I have to ask: Building on this grassroots campaign amid a pandemic takes significant resources, and we’re relying on grassroots supporters just like you to help us do it — not PACs. Will you rush a contribution of $5 or more toward our end-of-month goal of $250,000 to help us take on Roger Williams and flip this seat in November?

Chip IN $5

As Washington Republicans rush to deepen Roger Williams' pockets and ramp up ugly attacks, we're remaining focused on the programs and people that will help Julie win:

Conversations with likely voters: Since June 1, we've made over 70,000 phonecalls and sent over 300,000 texts — all powered by you, our incredible team of grassroots supporters. But in the coming months, we need to do more. We're planning to make 30,000 calls and send 10,000 texts in the final week of the campaign alone.

Outreach to undecided voters: Along with the work we've done reaching out to likely Democrats, we're also launching a new persuasion program that will target undecided voters. With this race within the margin of error, according to a recent DCCC poll, flipping undecided voters will make all the difference in this race.

Voter registration: This month, we sent thousands of voter registration forms out to folks who recently moved into TX-25. Each week, we're calling folks who received the forms but haven't turned them in yet — and we have just a little over a month to make sure as many of those folks as possible get their forms in before the registration deadline.

Adding capacity to our field team: We've hired a fantastic new Deputy Field Director, Malenie Areche, who helped run a massive out-of-state volunteer program on Beto O'Rourke's 2018 run for the U.S. Senate. She's also a native Spanish speaker who will be hosting weekly Thursday evening bilingual phonebanks to call into the Latinx community — because, on this campaign, we don't want to leave a single voter behind.

Friend, our plans only work if grassroots supporters like you step up. Will you rush a donation of $5 or more toward our end-of-month goal of $250,000 to help us execute on this plan to win?

Thanks for being a part of this,

Julia Doubleday
