** Better Transport Week is here!
------------------------------------------------------------
Happy Better Transport Week, Supporter!
Whether you're someone who takes the bus or coach, train or tram; whether you cycle, walk or wheel, or car-share when you can, Better Transport Week ([link removed]) is for you! This week is a celebration of how better transport connects people and places, and it's great that you're on board.
So, what can you do?
Well, why not start by entering one of these Better Transport Week competitions ([link removed]) ? We have some brilliant ones this year: you can win Eurostar tickets and signed transport books, and our 'Scenic Rail View' photo competition returns with the chance to win a £100 rail voucher. Plus some really great competitions from Better Transport Week partners.

Then, how about coming along to one of dozens of Better Transport Week events ([link removed]) , and getting together with others who care about transport? It's not too late! Several of the events are online, but we'd love to see you at one of the in-person events too - including our free Better Transport Conference ([link removed]) in London on Friday.

Next, Better Transport Week is a chance to spread the word about why sustainable, accessible transport is SO important. If you use social media, visit us on BlueSky ([link removed]) , Facebook ([link removed]) , Instagram ([link removed]) , LinkedIn ([link removed]) or X ([link removed]) , to explore and share our posts and join in the conversation. To tell everyone why you're celebrating sustainable transport, use the hashtag #BetterTransportWeek.
Here's what Buses Minister Simon Lightwood MP had to say - watch his video on Facebook ([link removed]) , or on Instagram ([link removed]) .
And here's why actress Jenny Agutter is celebrating:
Jenny Agutter "Transport shapes our days and our lives, connecting us to friends and family, the things we need and the places we love. Better Transport Week is an opportunity to celebrate transport at its best, and the connections that it makes possible."
- Jenny Agutter, our Patron

And of course, one of the best ways to celebrate Better Transport Week is just to enjoy a journey! Get your bike out of the shed, go for a walk or wheel, take your fam on the tram or your buddies on the bus! It's time to celebrate the connections that matter.
We are very grateful to all of the sponsors and supporters who make Better Transport Week possible, including the UK Government; headline sponsors Bauer Media Outdoor; and sponsors AtkinsRealis, BSI, CPT, Go Travel Solutions, Independent Rail Retailers, RailSmartr, Trueform, VEV, as well as our supporters and partners ([link removed]) .
We'll be in touch again soon with more ways to get involved. Until then, enjoy the week!
