It's Time - We Need To Get Busy
A dedicated group of NHCDP volunteers have been working to encourage Democratic-leaning voters to request absentee ballots for the last several months. A big cheer goes out to those who called or texted as part of this effort which. As of today, almost 14,000 voters have requested absentee ballots.
Now, with only 55 days left before Early Voting and 74 Days before Election Day, we need to step up our efforts.
The Coordinated Campaign has set up a statewide structure to ensure that Democratic Candidates from Joe Biden to Soil and Water Candidate David Dowdy all get elected in 2020. We have two New Hanover Field Organizers, Manning Turkheimer and Isaac Galton. Some of you may remember Isaac as the Field Organizer for the 2019 campaign for Dan McCready in Bladen County. If you remember that, you probably also remember the smash burgers at Melvins in Elizabeth City.
The Coordinated needs to build up their volunteer participation to ensure that Joe Biden and Roy Cooper and Cheri Beasley win New Hanover County. Can you spare a few hours this weekend to make sure that happens?
