Did you see the Mayor on ABC last night, friend? Levar had the chance to talk through why he removed Confederate statues in Richmond.
 

Richmond is no longer the capital of the Confederacy. It's really that simple. And removing the statues was only the first step.

It's time for our community to move on and move forward, so we can build a city that is equitable, just, and works for everyone. Levar is laying the groundwork, including holding bad actors accountable, establishing a Marcus Alert, and launching the Richmond Task Force on Reimagining Public Safety.
