Louie Gohmert just doesn’t know how to get himself out of trouble. He thrives in it. Yesterday, Trump’s former campaign manager and political adviser, Steve Bannon, was arrested for allegedly stealing $25 million through a fundraising campaign scheme called We Build The Wall.

Now, here’s the thing -- Louie’s testimonial is front and center of We Build The Wall’s site. This raises too many questions. And if I were him, I would be as jumpy as spit on a hot skillet.

It’s simple: Louie either knows he’s part of this massive fraud scheme against his own supporters or he’s too dumb to realize it. We’re inclined to believe it’s the latter, considering his track record.

Either way, this isn’t the kind of leadership East Texans want in office. Our communities need serious leadership that will work to solve the critical issues we face.
