Which is why I need to be direct: Will you chip in $5 to my campaign for governor of Colorado today?

Wednesday night is our first public filing deadline of the month – and while five bucks might not seem like much, it adds up fast when thousands of supporters pitch in. Will you give $5, or as much as you can, to make sure our ads don’t go dark in this final stretch before the primary?

My opponent, and the private equity and Big Oil execs supporting his campaign, have flooded Colorado's airwaves and are attacking me.

Look, I’m running to make sure no one has to spend more than 30% of their income on housing. 

I’m running to create a Public Option that brings affordable health care within reach for working families. 

And I’m running to ensure every high school graduate has the skills to earn a living wage without needing a degree.

But with ballots about to land in voters' mailboxes while we're being attacked with TV ads with big spending behind them, I can't fight back unless we meet critical goals like the one on Wednesday.

I'm truly relying on folks like you chipping in five bucks (or anything) to emails like this to hit our fundraising targets.

That’s why I’m humbly asking you to chip in $5 or more right now. Closing the last $25,091 gap on our $70,000 public filing goal is the only way we can win the primary – so friend, can I please count on you to donate right now?
