These words are straight out of Trump's playbook, and there's no doubt there will be more to come.

Julie Oliver for Congress

Team, the contempt that Roger Williams has for the Texans that he is supposed to represent and serve in our district has never been more apparent.

Today in an interview, he said of Austin, where the large part of the district's Black and Latino residents live, that "Austin is becoming an inner-city, and you know what I mean by that." Like New York and Chicago, he says, it's becoming "an inner-city type of environment."

The mask is off. This isn't dog-whistle racism politics — it's bullhorn racism, it's straight out of the Trump playbook, and there's no doubt there will be more to come.

Austin deserves a full-service representative who will show up, listen to the people she serves, and be accountable to them — not someone who will use racism to divide us and try to sow fear.

Central Texas deserves so much better than Roger Williams. Support us in our fight to send Roger Williams packing with a donation of $5 or more right now.

Chip IN $5

Roger Williams knows he is in danger of losing the Congressional seat that was gerrymandered for him and he has never worked a day in his life. So he's scared, and it's not surprising a ride-or-die Trump Republican would employ such racist rhetoric.

But here's the thing: It's not going to work. No matter their party, Texans across the district are tired of the pettiness, the mean-ness, the smallness  — especially when so many of us are suffering and he's cashing in on $1-2 million in taxpayer bailouts for his personal business.

We can count on Roger Williams to keep spewing his vitriol, but he should count on us to turn out a record number of voters for Julie in November.

Help us fight back and bring real representation back to Central Texas. Chip in $5 or more right now to send this corrupt career politician who has never worked a day in his life back to Weatherford.

Thank you for standing with Julie and our movement. Together, we are going to show everyone that this racism is not representative of our district.
