The Post Office is the only government agency created by the Constitution — and for the entire history of the Western U.S., it’s been a critical link between our communities and the rest of the country.

Now, the Post Office is under attack — from Postmaster General Louis DeJoy. DeJoy is violating his constitutional obligation to cripple vote-by-mail and sabotage the election. He’s removed letterboxes and sorting machines, cut hours and overtime pay for postal workers, and slashed budgets across the board in order to slow service as much as possible.

And despite promising a “pause” to these changes on Tuesday, it’s becoming clear that DeJoy and Donald Trump are still working to kneecap the Postal Service and vote-by-mail in time for November.
