Honestly, friend, I'm pissed. 

Tina Peters knowingly broke the law, undermined our democracy to help Trump win the 2020 election and was convicted by a jury of her peers.

Today, she walks free – in spite of the rule of law and the will of Coloradans.

Giving into a bully never stops their actions. That lawlessness can only beget more lawlessness. And yet, Governor Polis capitulated to President Trump's corrupt demands.

And the cherry on top of it all: If Trump gets his BS $1.8 billion "anti-weaponization" slush fund approved, she's poised to get a million-dollar, taxpayer-funded payout.

It's just not right. She's still guilty, and her criminal record hasn't changed.

If I am honored enough to serve as our next governor, I’ll see to it that Tina Peters never serves in a position of power over our elections again. And I'll fight like hell to make sure she never sees a dime of your money. 

Colorado must continue standing strong for our institutions and the rule of law. As your next governor, I won't settle for anything less – no matter what attacks Trump throws our way next.
