I was so inspired to hear the impassioned words of President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Bernie Sanders, Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, Hillary Clinton, and so many other incredible leaders. I was thrilled to see young activists and everyday Americans from every corner of our nation (Rhode Island’s own Calamari Man included!). I was moved to hear Dr. Jill Biden introduce herself and her family to the nation. And Kamala Harris’s rousing acceptance speech was a call to action for us all: We have just 75 days to work as hard as we can to send the Biden/Harris ticket to the White House!
I find myself returning to President Obama’s words from last night: “Do not let them take away your power. Don’t let them take away your democracy. Make a plan right now for how you’re going to get involved and vote. Do it as early as you can and tell your family and friends how they can vote too.” Let’s go! – David
