John, Joe Biden must be our next President.

It’s the second night of the Democratic National Convention, and Americans across all 57 states and territories have cast their votes to nominate former Vice President Joe Biden to be our next president. 

The Lincoln Project was proud to endorse Biden back in May, and our enthusiasm and commitment to his election has only grown since.

Above all, Joe is an honest and a decent man.

Rather than miss tucking his children into bed each night, Joe Biden rode the Acela from Delaware to Washington everyday.

When his wife and daughter were tragically taken, Joe Biden was the single parent his boys relied on.

When his eldest son Beau died of brain cancer, Joe Biden was sitting at his bedside.

And, throughout all this tragedy, Joe Biden never lost his sense of humor, his compassion, and his dedication to helping every American.

Joe Biden is a man guided by faith who has served our nation his entire life. He will fix our broken economy, listen to experts on how best to combat coronavirus, and will work to heal the divisions that Trump has sown.

But for him to win he’ll need our continued support. That's why, last week, we launched a massive $1M eight-state campaign, to convince reluctant Trump voters that the cost of four more years would be too high.
