Like many of you, last night I tuned in to the Democratic National Convention
and it filled me with hope. It was a testament to this country and its strength
-- filled with strong words from men and women who want to make a difference. 

Most notably, I appreciated the words by our former First Lady Michelle Obama
who said, “We have got to vote like we did in 2008 and 2012. We have got to
show up with the same level of passion and hope.” 

This was a call for all of us to come together and stand up for our shared
values with the same energy we did over a decade ago. And with so much at stake
in this election, we need everyone in this fight.

Right now, we have the momentum we need to create a Blue Wave this November.
But we can’t do it without you. Will you chip in $20.20 to ensure we hold the
majority in the House, take back the Senate and win the White House?

In 2016, she spoke of going high when others go low. In 2020, her words and
strength were revitalizing -- 

“Going high means standing fierce against hatred. ... Going high means taking
the harder path. It means scraping and clawing our way to that mountain top"

And as a woman who has a hand in our country’s leadership, I too want to
revitalize this country through my words and my actions. 

That is what I aim to do as your Congresswoman, and I am hoping you will join
me on this journey of healing for our country by chipping in $20.20 to my
