VoteSmart.org Youth Air PSA Nationwide

Tessa DeConcini, Vote Smart’s youngest staff member, is 17 and cut this 30-second video. She is representing the rest of our young staff and students in an effort to persuade citizens how crucial citizen access to the facts is if we are to self-govern successfully.

We hope you will review the video which is being played as a PSA on many stations nationwide, and share it with others who would like to know this effort to defend Americans from the rampant lies and manipulation in our political landscape is taking place.

You may remember Tessa’s grandfather, U. S. Senator Dennis DeConcini (D) from Arizona and the Junior Senator that served with him and on Vote Smart’s board, the late John McCain (R).

Vote Smart is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that provides accurate information about candidates, elected officials, and key pieces of legislation. By providing information in an easy and accessible manner, Vote Smart believes that citizens can better defend themselves from the questionable rhetoric and misrepresentation that characterizes present-day political campaigns.
