Dear John,
Thank you for your partnership - your support is critical to our success.
We are grateful that you share our values to ensure that the youth of Texas
realize their full potential.
As we work to ensure that Texas youth have access to medically accurate sex
education, we are nearing a critical milestone. In September, the State
Board of Education will hear testimony and cast preliminary votes on
minimum curriculum standards that guide health education, including sex ed,
in Texas.
The Texas Campaign and our partners have been participating in this process
at every step of the way. If we are successful, every youth in Texas will
have access to medically accurate, abstinence-plus sex education, including
information on contraception, prevention of sexually transmitted
infections, consent, healthy relationships and more.
We believe that the youth of Texas deserve every chance to succeed. Thank
you for believing in our vision and supporting our work. Please follow this
