friend—

I'll be blunt: Moments ago, the Virginia Supreme Court struck down the will of the people and the congressional map they voted for.

That ruling was a gift to Republicans like Rep. Jen Kiggans — a Trump loyalist in VA-02 who has spent her time in Congress voting against the interests of the very Virginians she swore to represent.

So now we do this the hard way. We beat her on the merits. And here's the case against her:

She voted to rip away Virginians' health care. Kiggans promised she would protect Medicaid. Then she voted for Trump's "Big Ugly Bill" — a bill that puts 22,000+ Virginians in her own district at risk of losing coverage and endangers funding for the hospitals her district relies on.

She broke her promise to seniors. Kiggans promised to protect Medicare. Then she voted for a bill the Congressional Budget Office said would trigger nearly $500 billion in Medicare cuts.

She sided with Big Pharma over Virginia seniors — opposing the law that capped insulin at $35/month and lowered prescription drug prices for 193,000+ Virginians.

She cheered on DOGE while Virginians lost their jobs . Kiggans called the chaos "so necessary" — even as DOGE laid off thousands of Virginia federal workers and canceled 70+ contracts with veteran-owned businesses in her own district. When laid-off Virginians asked her for help, her advice was to "go out and get" another job.

She was the deciding vote to protect Trump's tariffs. Six times she voted to keep them in place — even as tariffs drove up grocery prices, hiked Virginia car insurance rates, and caused layoffs at Volvo in southwest Virginia.

This is who Jen Kiggans is when no one's looking: a politician who runs from Virginians asking tough questions, who literally walked out of an interview when reporters pressed her on why she sided with predatory payday lenders targeting service members.

The court just made our path narrower. It did not close it.

We can still beat Jen Kiggans — but only if we have the resources to make sure every voter in Virginia's 2nd District knows exactly what she's done.

Will you chip in right now to hold Jen Kiggans accountable? [[link removed]]

Every dollar today goes towards exposing Kiggans' record before Election Day. We have to out-organize them.

Thank you for everything,

P.S. The court's ruling means today's fight is harder than it was yesterday. But Jen Kiggans' record hasn't changed — and neither has our resolve. Pitch in now to defeat her in November.
