NPR: COVID-19 drug Remdesivir priced at more than $3,100 per patient

A new coronavirus treatment only costs an estimated 93 cents to produce per dose -- but Americans will be paying over $700 more than patients in other developed countries for the exact same treatment.

That's because Mitch McConnell held up coronavirus relief legislation to ensure his wealthy donors could profit off the pandemic -- he's got a long history of helping Big Pharma at our expense:
