With record unemployment numbers and coronavirus cases on the rise across the country, Mitch McConnell let federal benefits expire knowing families were counting on that $600 a week to stay afloat.

And not only did he refuse to even participate in negotiations for the next round of relief legislation -- he just adjourned the Senate for a month-long vacation.
