John, Tennesseans have a choice.

There’s James: a different kind of candidate. He’s an outsider and combat veteran who stepped up to serve after 9/11. He’s driven by a sense of duty to his country. He isn’t taking money from corporate PACs, because he wants to fight for Tennesseans -- not wealthy donors or special interests.

Or there’s his potential opponent: a candidate hand-picked by Donald Trump. The Trump administration has overseen policies that have been uniquely harmful to Tennessee, including an influx of rural hospital closures, an inadequate response to the opioid epidemic, and a trade war of choice that hurts Tennessee more than any other state. We can’t afford to have another senator more interested in serving their special interest bankrollers than in representing the people they’re elected to serve.

Tennessee needs a senator who will stand up for what’s right and stand up to a president when they’re wrong.

We can win if everyone who wants change joins the team to make it happen -- our team.
