Team, this is serious:

The United States Postal Service is an essential service authorized by the Constitution that employs hundreds of thousands of veterans, has faithfully connected Texas communities for generations, and provides service to rural parts of our district that many private delivery services will not go to.

And if Donald Trump and Roger Williams had their way, it would be gone tomorrow.

In a recent interview, Trump said the quiet part loud: He is sabotaging the USPS to suppress the vote in a pandemic, and Roger Williams is letting him — because they both know they can't win an election without cheating.

Mail delays on voter registration forms, absentee voting applications, and absentee ballots could throw our entire GOTV plan into jeopardy if we don't start preparing for every scenario now. Will you chip in $5 or more right now to push us over our mid-month goal of $75,000 before the deadline at midnight tomorrow to help fund this critical work? [[link removed]]

Trump's handpicked Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is a billionaire with zero Postal Service experience who donated millions to Republicans and the Trump campaign. He also owns between $30.1 million and $75.3 million in assets in USPS competitors or contractors.

In recent months, small business owners here in our district and across the country have been reporting long delays in mail deliveries to customers, or shipments getting lost altogether. Seniors are going days without access to medications they depend on to be delivered by mail every month.

Now, the USPS is removing mail sorting machines from facilities around the country without any official explanation or reason given.

These delays are only going to get worse. With so much uncertainty surrounding this election overall, we have to make sure that voters have all the information they need to get registered to vote now if they haven't already, apply for absentee ballots now if they're eligible, and know where to vote early in-person.

We've got our work cut out for us in the next few months, but I know this team is up to the challenge. Chip in right now toward our mid-month goal of $75,000 to help us ramp up our voter outreach work immediately. [[link removed]]

We're not going to let Donald Trump and Roger Williams get away with this. Everyone ready to vote for real representation in TX-25 should be able to do so, and we're going to fight for every vote.

Thank you for joining us in this critical work,

Julie
