We join the people of Hawaiʻi in mourning the passing of George Ariyoshi.

Governor Ariyoshi served our state during a time of growth and change. His years of leadership reflected a deep commitment to public service and to the future of Hawaiʻi. That kind of service leaves a lasting impact.

Today is a moment to pause, reflect, and recognize a life dedicated to our state.

Our thoughts are with Jean Ariyoshi, his family, and all who knew and loved him.
