Last month, a U.S. citizen was shot dead while standing trial for blasphemy.
We’re working now to pass a Congressional resolution that would call on the president and the State Department to prioritize the repeal of blasphemy laws -- and to designate countries that enforce such laws as countries of particular concern for religious freedom.
But so far, the House of Representatives has refused to bring our resolution to a vote. We won’t stand by while Americans lose their rights and their lives because of religious bigotry -- will you join us in our mission to bring these laws to an end? Please tell us your view:
