Last night, voters in Virginia made something crystal clear: If Republicans are going to rig the rules to cling to power, Democrats are not going to sit back and let them do it.

Texas Republicans started this madness when they tried to redraw the lines in the middle of the game so they could squeeze out more seats and protect themselves in the midterms. They thought the rest of us would shrug, play nice, and accept it.

They thought WRONG.

We fight back in Congress. We fight back in the courts. We fight back in the states. We fight back at the ballot box. And yes — when they go low to try to crush our communities, we are not just going to lie down and take it.

They need fighters, people with backbone, and folks who will protect their rights, their families, and their future with everything we’ve got.
