Andrea here (Ted's partner). I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks

John,

Andrea here (Ted’s partner). I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks.

So many of you have donated, volunteered, taken our surveys, shared our policy papers on everything from affordable housing to criminal justice reform, and voted for Ted! Thank you.

Ted is out with the field crew putting up signs and dropping off campaign literature at voters' doors (contactless) right now - and won’t be back until around midnight.

He loves being out and about around the Super 6 Commission District of DeKalb County. From the beautiful neighborhoods, and diverse businesses, to discovering the secret nature sanctuaries and parks sequestered in pockets throughout. We live in a very special place.

The only thing he loves more than the community, is the people who live here. Trying to connect with residents and voters throughout the district is no doubt one of the most difficult parts of campaigning during COVID-19.

But that barrier hasn’t stopped us. Many of you have probably received a call, text or even a postcard or campaign card at your door. Ted is dedicated to connecting with every voter and resident, and that dedication is why I believe he will be a good Commissioner for our community here in the sixth district.

I also believe that with your support, he can be a great Commissioner. Ted will work harder than anyone out there - but he’s only one person.

He needs people like you to show up and get involved. Together, we have the potential to move DeKalb County forward into a new period of prosperity. There are so many opportunities ahead of us, and an equal number of challenges that could hold us back.

The answer is to work hard, show up, speak out, keep pushing for change, and do it together with one voice. A critical mass of individuals committed to seeing our community not just survive, but thrive.

As you probably have gathered from all the emails, Election Day is tomorrow and this is a make-or-break moment for Ted’s campaign.

We need your prayers, your positive energy and good vibes to help boost us in these final hours. Ted is going to keep pouring his heart and soul into this work long after election day has passed - but right now he could use a little pick me up.

So you will do just at least one of these things between now and 7 pm tomorrow, it will make a difference.

1.) Text or call 3 friends or neighbors you may know in DeKalb County, to vote for Ted today.
2.) Sign up for a volunteer shift, call 25 voters about the election.
3.) Send your thoughts, your prayers, your optimistic energy to Ted, you can call/text him at 404-585-0833 with a message of support. He needs it right now.

John, I know how much you care about our community, our state and our nation. Helping the next generation of Democratic leaders at the local level makes a difference now and well into the future. Thank you for all that you do to push for the changes we wish to see in the world. Thank you.

With love,

Andrea Cervone

P.S. I know I said I wouldn’t ask for money, and I’m not. But I’m going to leave the Actblue link right here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/ted-runoff (no pressure :-) ). Just know that me and Ted and all of us here at Team Ted appreciate you. We couldn't have gotten this far without you.
