For the past few months, we've all seen the
devastating toll that the coronavirus pandemic has taken on our
communities. Millions of people have lost their jobs and
alongside that, they've seen their healthcare coverage disappear
at the exact moment many of them need it the most. No American
should lose their healthcare in the middle of a pandemic - or
ever.

That is why I have partnered with Rep. Pamila Jayapal to
introduce a bill that would enroll every American who lost their
job during this pandemic in Medicare.

Our bill would expand Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, cap
out-of-pocket costs for Medicare enrollees, and eliminate
co-pays, coinsurance, or deductibles for COVID-19 testing and
care.

Our law doesn't only address the immediate needs posed by
COVID-19, but also serves as an immediate step as we move closer
to Medicare for All. Will you join Rep. Jayapal and me by adding
your name to be a citizen co-sponsor of our bill? Together, we
can expand access to healthcare for all.

35 million people will lose their health coverage in the coming
months. We have to act now to ensure no family is denied the
coverage and care they need. This first-step towards Medicare for
All will allow people who lose their health coverage to get a
public plan.

Can I count on you to join Rep. Jayapal and me by becoming a
citizen co-sponsor for our bill?
