The Trump administration is no stranger to devious policies when it comes to our environment. The latest? Promoting the deeply problematic Acting Director of the Bureau of Land Management as a permanent Director.

You probably don't know William Perry Pendley, but when it comes to environmental protections – he's approaching supervillain territory. Pendley spent the last 40 years undermining federal public lands protections (think: the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, the National Environmental Policy Act) as an extremist anti-environment lawyer.

Tell the Senate to reject William Perry Pendley's nomination to lead the Bureau of Land Management.

In 2019, Trump appointed Pendley to oversee 250 million acres of federal lands – as Acting Director of the Bureau of Land Management. Yikes. He promptly got to work opening up millions of acres of our public lands to logging, mining, and fossil fuel interests.

Now, Pendley's been nominated for a promotion: full-time Director of the Bureau of Land Management. We can't allow his abuses of our environment continue.

Add your name to tell the Senate, "Our public lands are not for sale! Reject William Perry Pendley!"
