As we begin building out our team for the 2026 election cycle, the Deaton for U.S. Senate campaign is recruiting interns and volunteers from across Massachusetts who want to be part of a competitive statewide campaign. John is running to defeat Senator Ed Markey, and we have a real opportunity to make this race competitive. But winning a statewide race in Massachusetts requires a strong grassroots organization, and that only happens with people across the Commonwealth stepping up to get involved. We are currently expanding our grassroots operation and looking for people who want to help in a variety of ways. Whether you are a student interested in gaining hands-on campaign experience, someone looking to volunteer your time, or someone willing to help organize supporters in your area, there are several opportunities to participate.  Ways to get involved include: Campaign Internships working with the political, communications, and operations teams Volunteer Opportunities such as door knocking, lawn sign deliveries, and hosting a fundraiser in your community District Chairs to help lead volunteer efforts in their region, coordinate door knocking and sign distribution, recruit additional volunteers, and serve as a point of contact between the campaign and supporters in their district Our goal is to continue building a strong grassroots network across the Commonwealth, and having dedicated volunteers and leaders involved early will be critical as the campaign ramps up.
