As summer comes to a close, the National Beer Wholesalers Association is celebrating the American workforce, including the more than 3,000 independent beer distributors that are bringing fresh, ice-cold beer to retail establishments nationwide. The men and women of the beer distribution industry will be working round-the-clock leading up to and on Labor Day to ensure shelves and taps are stocked with a tremendous variety of beer.

Busch Latte: Get it in North Dakota before it runs out

After catching wind that many Midwesterners refer to Busch Light as ‘Busch Latte,’ Anheuser-Busch launched the Busch Latte 30-pack exclusively in seven Midwest states, but only for a limited time. McQuade Distributing in Bismarck has already delivered all their Bush Lattes to local vendors. “It’s just one of those ‘hot things,'” said McQuade Marketing Community Events Coordinator Heather Nelsen. “And people want to be a part of it.”

Israel issues adulterated alcohol warning following deaths

At least 13 people have died in Israel since the start of 2018 because of methanol poisoning from alcohol, according to the country’s Ministry of Health. The agency reported these were only incidents examined in labs, so the actual number is estimated to be significantly higher.
