Dear Friend,

As we prepare our kids to “go back to school” next month (in many cases virtually), we need your help more than ever. We have 500 children new to us, many of whom do not have access to online learning and who need our help in closing the digital divide.

You’ve helped us to fill our kids’ backpacks with school supplies. This fall, our students will need more than the usual notebooks, folders, and pens, they’ll also need virtual school supplies, such as laptops, Mi-Fi’s, and headphones.

  • Laptops are essential for distance learning. Many of our families, who struggle to meet their basic needs cannot afford a $300 laptop. While the city provides some laptops, not everyone in the home has access.

  • Mi-Fi’s will provide our children, including those living in shelters, where there is no accessible Wi-Fi, with internet service the entire academic year.

  • Headphones will help our students concentrate in online class and have privacy during teletherapy and check-ins with their coaches and social workers.

Your gift is truly an investment in a child’s future. Click here and make a donation today.

Thank you for helping prepare our young students for the adventure of learning and the prospect of a brighter future!

With gratitude,

Jess Dannhauser
