This Saturday, join the Animal Liberation Online Assembly for an action-filled edition. We’re confronting one of the biggest animal exploiters in the world, and having a little fun as we do it. 

Smithfield Foods represents the worst of animal ag -- brutalizing animals, exploiting workers, accelerating global warming, endangering public health, and threatening the people who expose them with decades in prison. The COVID-19 crisis has brought these realities into the public spotlight, and now, workers, activists and ordinary people everywhere are uniting to take on this agricultural giant.

We’ll be joined by special guest, Elsie Herring, who lives in rural North Carolina where Smithfield sprays the waste from their pig manure lagoons. She, along with many others, are suing Smithfield for the harm their practices have caused local communities. 

Then, we’ll tune into a live action where activists will be bringing Smithfield’s mess right to their front door - and we need your help to make the action successful.
