It's hard not to notice that other countries across the world are opening back up. Families are gathering for dinner, celebrating friends, and getting back to work. But in the U.S., our COVID-19 numbers are setting new records day by day. No complete closure, no national mandate, eagerness to send kids back to school without a plan.

Unsurprisingly given this administration, the people detained at our southern border are experiencing horrific COVID-19 protocols.

Urge Congress to open an investigation into the COVID-19 response in ICE detention facilities. Add your name.

We're receiving reports that ICE officials have "accidentally" sprayed asylum-seekers with disinfectant chemicals - chemicals dangerous enough that the ICE employees have to wear protection as they cloud the holding cells.

These harmful chemicals are creating itchy rashes and other skin reactions, bloody mucus, fainting, and other health conditions. The lack of clean air circulation in such close quarters can cause serious long-term health conditions - both from the chemicals and the potential to spread disease.

We cannot allow this to continue - excuses or otherwise. Sign my petition urging Congress to investigate the COVID-19 response in ICE detention facilities.
