Exactly three months from today, we will be heading to the polls in what will be one of the most consequential elections in our lifetime. We’ll spend every single day working harder than the day before toward Election Day.

You’re going to hear from me quite often leading up to the election because I want to keep you updated on where we stand, whether it relates to the coronavirus pandemic, health care protections, our education system, and much more. And I want you to be informed on legislation I’m working on that will affect you.

Friend, I want to thank you in advance for your part in the coming days, weeks and months as we work together toward November 3. Whether you’re signing a petition for community and family protections or contributing toward my work to safeguard our civil liberties, every action is noticed and immensely appreciated.

Let’s take this moment, this calm before the storm, to recommit ourselves to being good citizens and working every day to build up our communities. There will be critics who choose inaction when conditions are not perfect for the task, but we must ignore them and fight for a better future that only comes by meeting and overcoming challenges.
