Hi
John:

We are many months into the deadly and devastating coronavirus pandemic, and Congress still has NOT expanded paid sick days and paid leave protections for workers - including frontline workers like Mariam, a health care worker at a nursing home in Florida.

Mariam suffered COVID-19 symptoms and was ordered by her doctor to quarantine for 14 days. During this time, she received no pay from her employer and had no paid time off to use, leaving her scared for her health AND her financial wellbeing.

We at the National Partnership believe that this isn't okay and we're calling on you to join us in urging senators to include emergency paid sick days and paid leave in the next coronavirus response.

While we've been fighting to expand paid sick days and paid leave to millions of workers left behind by Congress' initial emergency legislation, the Trump administration has been trying to further RESTRICT access to those who were actually included. In breaking news, a Manhattan judge has ruled that the administration's restrictions are illegal and must be removed. Click here to read more.
