My opponent raised $1 million last quarter, and over $250K came in the form of donations from big Trump donors. All while I was fighting for legislation to improve the lives of people, small businesses, and families.

The National Republican Congressional Committee started attacking me last February and touting a new candidate to challenge me and rubber stamp their agenda in Congress.

Their anti-health care, anti-gun safety, anti-environmental candidate is willing to parrot any of Donald Trump's talking points - no matter how misinformed or dangerous.

I've never taken an election for granted, and we have a lot of work to do, to move our country forward.

Our end of month deadline is midnight tonight. Can you help fuel our grassroots movement by chipping in $15 right now?

Here's the funny thing: their list of "attacks" against me is basically the same as the list of things we're fighting for.

* Affordable, high-quality health care and pharmaceuticals for everyone, not a privilege for the wealthy and well-connected.
* Significant investments in 21st-century energy-efficient infrastructure by modernizing and electrifying our transportation system, moving us away from fossil fuel consumption.
* A humane immigration policy that respects the human rights of all people.
* Police accountability and demilitarizing our cops.

Trump, his cronies, and their hand-picked candidate know our people-powered movement is fighting like never before for a government that works for everyone who calls this country home.

They also know that their ideas are disastrous for working families. That's why our opponents will do everything in their power to attack me - including asking Ted Cruz for help. Cruz has promised to raise at least $100,000 from his network of right-wing millionaires.

They're convinced that their handful of big donors can stop our people-powered movement.
They're wrong.

Contribute $15 before our midnight deadline, and let's show them what it looks like when working people stand up to special interests.

It's a tough fight towards November. But I know our grassroots movement, and I know we're plenty tough enough to win this race and keep up the fight for our progressive values.

In solidarity,

Peter
