[ [link removed] ]Today, I’m asking you to chip in to the campaign of John Cavanaugh, a
progressive candidate running to flip Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional
District from red to blue.
John is one of the only candidates in his district to reject corporate PAC
money, and he needs our support.

The Congressional Progressive Caucus and I have endorsed John because he
is the candidate most capable of flipping this district blue and finally
giving Nebraskans the representation they deserve.
He’s been a progressive leader in the Nebraska legislature, and he has
results to show for it. He’s passed bills to actually lower costs, fought
for access to medical cannabis, and helped block a total abortion ban.
In Congress, John has promised to support efforts to ban Members of
Congress from trading stocks and be a voice for working people in his
district, not special interests or big corporations.
His race is winnable, but he needs our support. Nebraska’s 2nd
Congressional District is one of the three that went for Kamala Harris in
2024 while still electing a Republican Congressman. With the current
Republican retiring, this open seat is our best opportunity to pick up a
seat that can give Democrats the majority.
