To Phil, the most rewarding part of this campaign is getting to know the six million people of our state. He’s been attending forums, hosting town halls, and just chatting up Coloradans whenever he can.

Those conversations matter because they tell him more about how he can serve you as your next governor. If we can buckle down and raise funds now, we can stay on track toward our fundraising targets, and Phil can dedicate even more time to those conversations.

Rest assured, when we refer to a goal or a deadline, it’s real. We respect and appreciate you — that’s why we won’t make up fake goals.

When we ask you to chip in, it’s because we need to know how many folks are invested in this movement, and because we know it’ll take every single one of us to win.

It’s easy to dismiss two dollars as somehow not enough to make a dent. But I spend all day looking at our numbers, and I’ll tell you myself: every single dollar matters.

In every campaign he’s ever run, Phil’s support has come from the people, not billionaires or corporations. He never has — and never will — take corporate PAC money. That’s a promise he upholds to this day, because it keeps 100% of our focus on the people — as it should be.

In practical terms, that promise also means we’re relying on everyday folks to help us stay competitive in this race.
