Last week, we told you the truth about opossums. Today, we're coming to you again for your help and your $30 to protect opossums
and other misunderstood species.

Opossums are resistant to diseases like rabies, but these gentle nocturnal
marsupials aren't immune to habitat destruction and other human-caused dangers.
That's why we need dedicated friends of wildlife like you to step up.

Can opossums count on your support right now?

Opossums need your support today.
[[link removed]] [[link removed]]John,

America's only native marsupial, opossums, have a bad reputation—but they don't
deserve it.

Did you know that one opossum can consume around 5,000 ticks in a single season? These unfussy omnivores do more than protect us by eating disease-carrying
ticks; they also clean up our ecosystems by eating rotting plants and dead
animals.

Can you give $30 or whatever you can spare to protect opossums and all of
America's wildlife?

I WANT TO PROTECT AWESOME OPOSSUMS
[[link removed]]

Opossums are nature's pest control and cleanup crew, but many people don't
realize they're essential, and may even try to harm them. We're trying to change
public perception of opossums, but we can't do it alone.

That's why we need your help and your $30 to support conservation and our work
educating the public about vital species like opossums.

Some people falsely believe that opossums are aggressive and transmit dangerous
diseases like rabies through bites. In reality, these nocturnal creatures are
resistant to rabies and are more likely to play dead than attack when they
encounter humans.

So if you see an opossum in your garden, yard, or neighborhood, don't call an
exterminator! This misunderstood marsupial keeps our ecosystems healthy and
keeps humans safe from disease.

Opossums are awesome, but they need our help to spread the word. Will you give
$30 right now?

Thank you for supporting opossums and all of America's wildlife.

Sincerely,
