John,
Last week, Marilyn issued an urgent call: this Black History Month, we must stand together and make one thing unmistakably clear: we will not be erased.
Less than 24 hours later, Donald Trump showed exactly why that call matters more than ever.
On his right-wing social media platform, Trump posted a racist AI-generated video degrading former President Barack Obama and the First Lady.

This is blatant racism coming from a sitting president. It’s cruel, vile, and a disgrace to the office he holds. There is no excuse for it - none.
Moments like this demand action and courage, John.
We cannot be silent. And we will not allow anyone - especially the president - to erase or demean Black history, Black voices, and Black excellence.
Add your name now to say we will not be erased. [[link removed]]
In solidarity,
