| Friend, This message may be a bit different from what you’re used to, but frankly, it’s quite personal and important. I'd like you to read this passage with me from Hebrews 13:3: “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” As a follower of Christ, nothing weighs heavier on my heart than the suffering of our brothers and sisters who are paying the ultimate price for their faith. I've seen the reports, heard the stories personally, and fought in the U.S. Senate to shine a light on this darkness because their pain is real, raw, and relentless. They aren't distant statistics – they're our family in Christ. Since 2009 in Nigeria, it's estimated that over 100,000 Christians have been massacred, 20,000 churches have been destroyed, and over 5 million have been displaced. In China, it is not uncommon for faithful believers to be arrested simply for gathering to worship, to have their homes raided, and their leaders imprisoned. In Sudan, Islamist paramilitaries have long been on a rampage – bombing churches and killing priests and worshippers, forcing survivors to convert or be killed. Christians are the most persecuted religious group on the planet. At least 380 million endure heavy persecution – many of them children. My faith demands I act, and I’d like to personally – and urgently – ask you to do the same. Save The Persecuted Christians is a vital non-profit organization working on the front lines to raise awareness, brief lawmakers, and push for real accountability. They are saving lives and saving souls. Please help with an emergency, tax-deductible donation today. We cannot stand idly by while evil targets the faithful. It's time to rally around our persecuted family. Thank you for your time today. May God bless you, Ted Cruz |
