Congressman Jeff Van Drew was asked about a video Trump posted that depicted the Obamas as apes — a racist trope that has been used for generations to demean and dehumanize Black Americans. His response?
“These types of videos are morally wrong. Sadly, this kind of behavior happens on both sides of the aisle, and it needs to stop. We should be holding ourselves to a higher standard.”
Let me be clear: racism is not a “both sides” issue.
When it comes to MAGA Jeff Van Drew, I’ve had it with his horseshit. I say ENOUGH is ENOUGH! Chip in if you agree and help me represent South Jersey in Congress.
South Jersey deserves a representative who doesn’t tiptoe around racism or pretend it’s just another partisan disagreement. Our communities — Black, Latino, immigrant, Jewish, Muslim, and families of every background — deserve someone who will actually defend them and represent them with honesty and integrity, not someone who worries about offending his MAGA allies.
I’m running for Congress because words matter, but actions matter more. I won’t equivocate when people are demeaned. I won’t normalize racism. And I won’t hide behind “both sides” language when the moment calls for courage. I need your help to defeat Van Drew this November.
Here’s the reality: Jeff Van Drew has the backing of national political machines and big donors who will spend whatever it takes to keep him in office. We are building something very different — a grassroots campaign powered by ordinary people.
That only works if people like you step up today.
Can you chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can right now to help us defeat Jeff Van Drew and bring real leadership to this district?
