I wanted to share a quick update on what bipartisan, results-driven leadership looks like — because it’s exactly what’s at stake in this election.
Families across southern Nevada are feeling the squeeze. Child care costs are too high. Energy bills are rising. Housing, groceries, and health care are stretching household budgets thinner every month.
That’s why I’m proud to be working with Democrats and Republicans in the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus to roll out a new Affordability Agenda — a comprehensive, common-sense plan to lower costs for hardworking families.
This agenda includes two bipartisan bills I’ve led to deliver real relief:
- Lowering energy costs through my bipartisan STEAM Act, which cuts red tape for geothermal projects, creates jobs, and helps reduce electricity bills
- Expanding access to affordable child care through my Small Business Child Care Investment Act, allowing nonprofit child care centers to access SBA loans so they can grow and serve more families
This isn’t about partisan talking points. It’s about recognizing that affordability is a crisis — and rolling up our sleeves to fix it.
That kind of pragmatic, bipartisan leadership is exactly why this race is one of the most competitive in the country — and why national Republicans are already working to flip this seat.
Early grassroots support makes all the difference. It allows us to stay focused on delivering solutions, push back against attacks, and run the strong campaign we’ll need to win.
