Dear John,
For weeks, Minnesotans have been bravely standing up to ICE attacks and defending their neighbors and communities. Now, they’re turning up the heat on Target and kicking off a week of action, starting this Wednesday, February 11th. Join in solidarity with people in Minnesota and across the country by taking action at a Target near you!

In short, Target is a Minnesota corporation and a key decision-maker in the state. Where they lead, others will follow.
Yet when ICE staged operations in Target parking lots and kidnapped people who were on the clock at a Target store, the corporation did nothing. When Trump sent thousands of masked agents into the state and they assaulted, kidnapped, and killed people, Target refused to speak out.
That’s why Minnesotans are pushing for Target to listen to their demands [[link removed]] , starting with the corporation clearly calling for ICE to get out.

This isn’t the first time Target is under public scrutiny. Following the public rollback of DEI policies, Black women have been leading the call for a closer look at the corporation.
It’s clear that Target will celebrate the history and culture of our communities to turn a profit, with sections of stores dedicated to cultural heritage months and endless merchandise during Pride Month. Yet when these displays become inconvenient, they will tear them down and throw our communities under the bus. And right now, Target is staying silent while ICE agents occupy and terrorize communities of color in Minneapolis.
This is a pattern, and we all have a stake in what happens next. Over the next week, people and organizations are planning nonviolent actions at Target stores around the country. Together, let’s make it clear to Target that it’s time to stand with us! This Wednesday, February 11, join in solidarity with Minnesotans, find a store near you, and demand that Target say ICE OUT! Our organizing — in Minnesota and across the country — is picking up speed. Now is our moment to rev it up.
