VIDEO OF THE DAY: Epstein files mystery BLOWN OPEN in massive update
According to Reps. Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna, the names of at least six "very important" men who are likely incriminated in the Epstein files have instead had their names redacted, thanks to Trump's Department of Injustice. And remember, the plain text of the Epstein Transparency Act explicitly forbids that. Donald's DOJ goons have repeated violated the law — by refusing to release the full Epstein files by the original December 19, 2025 deadline, refusing to release the outstanding 3 million documents in their possession, and refusing to explain any of their redactions. They're also violating the plain text and spirit of the law by protecting the very people it was supposed to expose and hold to account. Why? Because they are engaged in a brazen cover-up. Full stop.

Epstein file redactions reveal victims as young as nine years old
Nine. Years. Old. No words.

Economic populist, oysterman, and former Marine challenges vulnerable Republican for must-win Senate seat
Graham Platner for Senate: Graham Platner isn’t your average D.C. Democrat. He’s a working-class oysterman with a plan to bring voters back into the fold by running on a proud platform of economic populism. He’s not afraid to name the billionaire class as the enemies of workers and he’s going to fight to raise the federal minimum wage, stop billionaires from buying elections, crack down on rampant tax dodging by the megawealthy, back labor unions to the hilt, and fight for universal health care. Chip in to help kick-start his campaign!
GOP senator changes tune on Epstein files release: "Now I see what the big deal is"
We aren't exactly sure why it took news of victims as young as nine years old to finally catch Cynthia Lummis' fleeting attention but the Wyoming Republican — who opted not to seek reelection this year — at long last has an opinion on the matter and now supports the full release of the infamous Epstein files. "Wow. Well, initially, my reaction to all this was, 'I don't care. I don't know what the big deal is.' But now I see what the big deal is, and it was worth investigating. And the members of Congress that have been pushing this were not wrong. So that’s really my only reaction," Lummis added. Astoundingly myopic take, Cynthia, but we're glad to finally have you on board all the same.
Democrats demand new restrictions to Trump’s immigration crackdown and threaten a DHS shutdown
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries lambasted the White House's "incomplete and insufficient" response to their demands for new ICE restrictions and threatened yet another government shutdown over immigration enforcement if the Trump regime refuses to budge. All well and good until you remember the last time — and the time before that — Democrats talked tough and forced Republicans to shut down parts of the federal government. (Tens of millions of Americans are still waiting on the restoration of expired healthcare subsidies the last time we checked.)
Let's hope congressional Democrats have learned a few lessons from their recent games of chicken with the Trump regime and stand firm on their ICE demands. They have a clear majority of Americans in their corner, and our nation's battered moral identity is on the line.

Lauren Boebert and Anna Paulina Luna break with Trump on Ghislaine Maxwell
Reps. Boebert and Luna might want to phone former colleague Marjorie Taylor Greene for a few pointers after publicly breaking with Dear Leader over the ongoing Epstein debacle. The congresswomen said they reviewed the unredacted Epstein files on Monday and plan to return Tuesday to examine additional materials, describing documents they say list co-conspirators connected to the late child sex trafficker. Both lawmakers broke with Trump — an unforgivable sin in MAGAland — over the treatment of Ghislaine Maxwell, rejecting clemency or any form of special treatment for the convicted Epstein associate. Stand by for juvenile pot shots, "Democrat hoax" claims, and vows to back "real" MAGA Republicans in upcoming primaries from Trump. It's always the same script with this guy.
Trump Cabinet member ensnared in Epstein scandal
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said his relationship with next-door neighbor Jeffrey Epstein was "absolutely done" after a single meeting in 2005. The American public — and probably Howard's wife — will be interested to know that the Epstein files tell a much different story. Imagine that.

Kid Rock’s past comments about underage girls go viral as MAGA piles on pathetic praise
MAGA's Great White Cope Super Bowl halftime show was a big hit with the "It's different, kill it" crowd, as Kid Rock, 55, struck all the right notes and hit his requisite vapid platitudes quota — and all with just the right amount of melanin to boot! Weirdly, the party of FaMiLy VaLuEs™ was able to look past Mr. Rock's incredibly sketchy past track record on touchy subjects like, oh, ya know, having sex with children, because Kid just loves his country so damn much it hurts. Past choice Kid Rock cuts MAGA clearly has no problem with include comments he once made on SNL about Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, who were 14 years old at the time: "Why is every guy in America waiting for these chicks to turn 18? I mean, you know what I'm saying? If there’s grass on the field, play ball!"
And let's definitely not forget these incredibly poetic lyrics from his 2001 "song" entitled "Cool, Daddy, Cool:" Young ladies, young ladies, I like 'em underage. Some say that's statutory (but I say it's mandatory)."
What a patriot! Charlie Kirk would be so proud.
Ghislaine Maxwell pleads the Fifth but says she'd "speak fully and honestly" if Trump grants her clemency
Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking accomplice isn't even trying to hide her desperate quid pro quo cards at this point. What an abominable human being.
Elon Musk vows to pay legal fees for any Epstein victim who "speaks the truth" and is sued for naming perps
Forgive us if we're a wee bit skeptical that Elon, the world's richest deadbeat dad, will make good on his most recent, dubious promise. File under "We'll believe it when we see it."
Irish man who’s been held by ICE for months calls facility a "modern-day concentration camp"
An Irish man with legal permission to work in the United States, who has spent nearly five months in a Texas ICE detention facility, has described the conditions there as a "modern-day concentration camp" in a harrowing interview, detailing widespread illness and competition for food. Seamus Culleton, of Ireland’s County Kilkenny, has lived in the US for nearly 20 years and is married to an American citizen. Despite holding a valid work permit and being in the final stages of receiving a green card — with no criminal record — he was detained by ICE agents in September 2025 after he was stopped while driving home from work.
During an interview on Irish television, Culleton explained: "The best way I could describe it is probably like a modern-day concentration camp... We get three meals a day, very, very small meals, kid-sized meals. So everybody’s hungry, everybody’s tired... The conditions here are filled. The toilets, the showers, completely nasty, very rarely cleaned... I'm in fear for my life now here, honestly, because people are being killed by the staff here, by the security staff, you know? And you just don't know what’s going to happen on a day-to-day basis. You don't if there’s going to be riots, you don’t… You don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s a nightmare down here..."
This is Trump's vision for America, folks. Any questions?
Doom and doomer
And in other news
Hope...
