This CARD webinar will review results from a study conducted by Slipstream to explore how to improve the commissioning of new heat pumps with advanced, connected diagnostic tools and software. Attend to learn more about:
* the features and limitations of connected diagnostics for residential HVAC commissioning, including both third-party smart diagnostic tools and advanced heat pumps with embedded diagnostics;
* contractors’ user experience when adopting connected diagnostics commissioning practices for heat pumps and air conditioners and their perspectives on utility quality installation program integration;
* common configuration and commissioning issues for heat pump and air conditioner installations when using connected diagnostics; and
* recommendations for how Minnesota utilities plan for incorporation of connected diagnostics capabilities into ECO programs for residential heat pumps and air conditioners.

Conservation Applied Research and Development (CARD) projects aim to uncover new technologies and strategies to maximize energy savings, enhance energy conservation programs, and document CO2 reductions.
