John,We have all seen the abuses, and tragedies, carried out by an out of control ICE and DHS the last few weeks. In Minnesota, and even here in New Jersey. Instead of answering questions or allowing Congress to conduct our constitutional oversight, they area stonewalling us at every turn.

Think about that: Your tax dollars are funding an agency that won't tell your elected representatives what they're doing in your name.

They've shut down Congressional oversight completely. They won't answer questions. They won't provide documents. They're operating as if the Constitution doesn't exist.

I've introduced legislation to crack down on an out of control ICE and DHS.

But look, John, legislation can take months to pass, and we need to take action NOW.

I cannot – I will not – vote to give billions more dollars to an agency that operates this way while Americans die.

This is about making sure tragedies like we saw in Minnesota never happen again.

This administration has come into our communities with an out-of-control and unaccountable force. The chaos in Minnesota – with thousands of armed agents, massive raids, disruptions to schools and businesses, and now two deaths – is spreading.

We have a choice: We can stand by and watch as our federal government operates without accountability, or we can demand oversight and standards that keep everyone safe.

I'm running for reelection this November because I believe Congress has a constitutional duty to be a check on executive power – no matter who sits in the White House. But I need your help to continue this fight.
