* CO GOP SECRETARY ISSUES OFFICIAL CALL FOR SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PARTY’S STATE CENTRAL COMMITTEE. TIME TO SAVE THE CO GOP! Sec. Russ Andrews, citing Party by-laws asserted his ability to validate petitions and when Chair Horn did not respond in the required time - issue an Official Call for a SCC Special Meeting. It is now set for February 21 at 10:30 am. The biggest question on the agenda regards the Party’s “dire financial situation”. Recent FEC filings reveal that the Party has only $5000 more on hand than when CO GOP Chair Brita Horn took over a year ago. And at the same time the Party is deeply in debt, owing nearly $200-thousand dollars to Horn’s personal attorney Steve Klenda - the result of lawfare Horn continues to wage against grassroots. Vice Chair Richard Holtorf - who is resigning in disgust over Horn’s failed leadership - and Vice Secretary Andrews - who is considering stepping down as well - say they have repeatedly pleaded with Horn to drop the useless legal
actions but she refuses. They say the only person Horn listens to is Klenda. And he has an obvious conflict of interest as the more he encourages Horn to continue the lawfare the more money he makes. Click on the RINO Watch Report link above to see the Official Call.
* SCC WILL VOTE ON TELLING HORN TO CEASE LEGAL ACTIONS. SCC members will also vote on whether they have confidence in Horn’s continued leadership.
* FORMER VICE CHAIR PHELAN SAYS SHOW UP OR SURRENDER - WHY SCC MEMBERS MUST ATTEND SPECIAL MEETING IN FORCE. You remember Phelan also resigned in disgust with Horn’s leadership. He praises Sec. Andrews for doing the right thing and says SCC members must do their part and show up in overwhelming numbers so that whatever the result of the vote - it cannot be spun, dismissed or ignored.
