We Need Your Help
We need your help to safeguard the vote in New Hanover County. We are working to contact 20,000 voters by text urging them to vote by mail and do it early. You can see the results above - evidence from the Board of Elections that our efforts are working. Please do not not post these results on social media.
Peer to peer texting enables us to reach out to large numbers of voters quickly and inexpensively. The texting complements our phone banks targeting 18,000 voters, which have been going on for months, and are also working. Every person who votes by mail now will reduce the lines at the polls in this election. Can you help us with this important work?
New Hanover Democrats are planning several other initiatives to support our candidates this year, including $2400 for Blue Ballots and a $5400 billboard buy. We have cancelled our most important fundraising effort, the Unity Banquet, because we didn't think we could ensure your safety. We hope you will support us in our efforts to support Democrats.
Also, if you haven't already done so, apply now for an absentee by mail ballot. To request a ballot, fill out the request form here, then print it out and mail it to the Board of Elections, or call the Board of Elections at (910) 798-7330.
