John, my primary opponent says she’s a strong Democrat, but here’s the truth:

A strong Democrat doesn’t claim to be anti-ICE and then invest in a company that helps the agency track down and deport immigrants.

A strong Democrat doesn’t make nearly 350 stock trades in a single year using tips gained from her position of power. 

And a strong Democrat doesn’t put her own personal profit ahead of the people who elected her to represent them.

But that’s exactly what my opponent did, according to a new report from the Texas Tribune.

TX-33 deserves a leader who will fight for them and not for their own self-enrichment. If you agree, I’m asking you to chip in to my campaign to help me defeat my opponent in next month’s Democratic primary.
