Dear Illinois Republicans,

Early voting is here and with it comes an opportunity — not just to cast a ballot, but to stand up for the principles that make our elections worthy of trust.

Every election tells a story. It’s a story written by voters who show up, volunteers who step forward, and citizens who refuse to take their freedoms for granted. The strength of that story depends on us. It starts with voting.

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to make your plan to vote here: https://vote.illinois.gop/

But voting is only part of the story. Election integrity lives at the local level.

It lives in polling locations staffed by Republicans who serve as election judges. It lives in poll watchers who are present, engaged, and committed to transparency. It lives in patriots who understand that confidence in our elections doesn’t happen by accident — it happens because people step up.

That’s why we need more Republicans to serve as Election Judges in the General Election and Poll Watchers in both the Primary and General Election.

If you want to serve as an Election Judge, apply directly with your Local Election Authority, most likely your County Clerk. If you want to help as a Poll Watcher, sign up through your local Republican organization.

These roles are essential. They are honorable. And they are one of the most meaningful ways to safeguard the electoral process for our neighbors, our communities, and the next generation. This is grassroots work in its purest form. Not flashy. Not political theater. Just citizens doing their duty.

Across Illinois, Republicans are ready to lead — not from the sidelines, but from inside the process. When we show up, we strengthen trust. When we serve, we protect the vote. When we participate, we shape the future. I ask you to be part of this moment. Vote. Serve. Encourage others to do the same.

Together, we can ensure that every legal vote is counted and every election is conducted with integrity. Thank you for your commitment, your courage, and your love of this great country.

As Illinois heads into early voting, the Republican congressional delegation is demanding answers from the Illinois State Board of Elections over serious concerns about voter roll accuracy and compliance with federal law. Illinois Representatives Mary Miller, Mike Bost, and Darin LaHood are calling for immediate transparency after a congressional review flagged counties reporting little to no voter roll maintenance and failures to provide required data, raising red flags about election integrity statewide. Read the full letter here.
