Friend, my opponent just flooded North Texas with tens of thousands of mailers attacking me and questioning my values.

The irony of these attacks is that this comes on the heels of a report that came out just last week revealing that she invested in a company that helped ICE track down immigrants and tear families apart. 

My opponent claims to be a strong Democrat fighting against ICE terrorizing our communities, but her actions speak louder than her words.

As a civil rights lawyer, the lies being spread like this aren’t just disappointing – they’re a cheap political trick meant to tear me down to deflect from the truth. Here is the reality:

I am not the one who invested in one of ICE’s federal contractors.

I have never traded a single stock in Congress, unlike my opponent, who made nearly 350 trades last year alone.

And I have certainly never profited from companies connected to a system that is harming our communities and tearing families apart.

Instead of answering for her own record, she’s trying to bring me down with these deceitful attacks. But I won’t let these lies define this campaign – and I won’t stop standing up for our rights, our communities, and the rampant corruption in Washington that my opponent is contributing to.
